I just celebrated 26 years of life so I thought I’d reintroduce myself 👇
My name is Allison and I am AKFILMCO. I live in Los Angeles because I love to pay high rent and taxes ☺️ Just kidding, I live here because the city inspires me to be creative. Not many wedding videographers live in LA, living in the city helps me to be inspired by all sorts of people.
I am a hopeless romantic (emphasis on the hopeless). I have filmed over 200 weddings and have been single through just about everyone of them. I think my inexperience with love is what pushes my curiosity with my couples to learn about their love and what it looks like. The more couples I work with, the higher my standards get… I can’t help that I get the most incredible couples and hear the most beautiful love stories every day 🤷♀️
I’m a business owner but I really just feel like a kid with a camera. I come alive with a camera in my hand. I have a RBF when I’m filming because I’m focused, so it might look like I hate what I’m doing but I promise I love every second 😂
I have a blind Malinois because somehow in my rationale I thought having one of the most difficult dog breeds to own would be easier if he was blind 😅 Needless to say, after 1-2 hours of training for an entire year I have the most incredible dog I could ask for.
And so that’s about it, I’m just a 26 year old newly-brunette girl who gets to capture love stories and be a part of the most important day of someone’s life. It’s a pretty incredible career and I’m blessed every day because of it ☺️
