We asked some of our amazing vendors this question, and each shared a different story. It reminded us just how much love and meaning this beautiful tradition holds for so many of us, this day is especially close to our hearts. We think about our grandparents, how loving and supportive they always were, and all the memories we wish we could relive just one more time. We know that if they were still here, they would be right there with us tomorrow, dancing to the cumbias, talking everyone's ears off, and cheering us on like they always did.
And that's what makes this celebration so meaningful to us.
Even though our loved ones are no longer physically here, the love, memories, and little pieces of them we carry will always remain.
Tomorrow, we hope to bring our community together to celebrate not just the lives we've lost, but all the beautiful love they left behind.
