Hi from Detroit!

I’m Lauren Leigh — owner + lead planner of Happileigh Hosted Events.

Unapologetically a soft Type A and very Virgo. Details obsessed, timeline loving, and keeping the big picture in mind. We love celebrating everything.

HHE’s approach to wedding planning is catered to each couple — blending thoughtful design, intentional details, and a seamless experience that radiates happiness!

Beyond planning, you can usually find me — traveling with my lil fam, riding horses, curating my restaurant list, cheering on our Detroit sports teams, skiing down a mountain, or enjoying a glass of Nebbiolo w**e with our daughter and corgi, Nebbi. It’s those little moments of joy that inspire the way I plan and celebrate with my couples.

With Nikes laced up, let’s *happileigh* plan your wedding.

My sister got MARRIED this weekend | 9.26.2026 {sneak peeks}

The most intentional, intimate and unmistakably *them* wedding celebration. Full of private vows, first looks with their pup, personalized letters to each guest, warm fall colors and textures, music bops from the early 2000s, and lots of fringe.

After sharing travel-wedding costs and challenges — I’m sure glad they didn’t fire me a year ago and throw in the towel for a court house shindig.

Cheers to the Buth’s - can we have just one more?!

Her vision was beautifully specific — a warm, golden palette layered with buttery yellows, chartreuse greens, and the softest hint of baby blue. But more than anything, she wanted the florals to feel rooted in Michigan, bringing the natural beauty and effortless movement of wildflowers into every detail.
