Happy 19th Anniversary to me and the city I call home! 🏙️✨Today marks exactly 19 years since I became a resident of Atlanta and Fulton County. Witnessing this city’s incredible transformation into a global powerhouse has been nothing short of amazing.Just like Atlanta, my own journey here has had its share of ups, downs, and everything in between. But looking back, I wouldn't trade a single moment of it. This city has shaped me, and I’m so proud to be a part of its story.Atlanta truly influences everything. ❤️🍑

THE DUKE’S 2CENTS ❤️🙏🏾

I been broke as a hank these last two months. When I tell you I’ve gone damn near 2 months with no income, I’m not exaggerating. I’m behind on this, that, and the other—but I still have faith that somehow, some way, it’s all going to work out.

One thing about it and two things for sure: my friends have made sure food was never something I had to worry about. My circle has stepped up and provided groceries for me week after week. That kind of love and generosity means more to me than I can put into words.

Tonight, I baked some chicken, made the most delicious collard greens in the crock pot, and cooked some white rice.

Nothing fancy. Just a good meal made with love, gratitude, and a little faith.

And tonight, I’m full—not just from the food, but from knowing that I have people in my corner who refuse to let me go without.

I’m grateful. I’m blessed. And I’m trusting God through this season. 🙏🏾❤️

Death is a part of the cycle of life—something each of us will eventually encounter. Yet that doesn’t make the loss any easier.

Some deaths hit differently. The passing of loved ones, friends, celebrities, politicians, neighbors—and people who have simply touched our lives—can sometimes overtake us emotionally.

The recent losses of Dolly Parton, Tim Curry, and today, my brother in Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Jason Montgomery, have truly rocked my core.

Mercy, God. 🙏🏾

Tonight, my heart is heavy. I’m reminded that life is precious, time is fleeting, and we should never take the people around us for granted.

Rest well, Brother Jason. Your presence, your brotherhood, and your impact will not be forgotten. 🕊️🙏🏾
