We are excited to share that Lake Middle High School earned the following accolades:

⚡ - #1 ranked high school in Stark County
⚡ - #54 ranked high school in Ohio
⚡- Top 6% in the entire nation

Congratulations to our students, staff, and families on this incredible accomplishment. It's always a great day to be a Blue Streak!

The Lake Blue Streaks kicked off the 2026 season last night at the Mapleton Moonlight Classic, and both teams came out ready to compete!

💙 Boys Team — 1st Place!�💙 Girls Team — 2nd Place!

Leading the way for the boys was Brycen Vensel, who captured the individual win with an 16:09!

On the girls side, Heidi Hart and Ava Potashnik went 1–2, crossing the finish line together in an exciting 20:01 and 20:02!

What a fantastic start to the season with many PR’s.

Thanks to Josh the Window Cleaner & Power Washing LLC for donating their services to help keep the front porch of our school district and community clean and welcoming for all guests! On Wednesday morning they had five crews who worked feverishly to get both home and away bleachers looking their best 😎
