Let’s show our Blue Streaks some love this Saturday! 💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

This Saturday, October 17, our boys and girls cross country teams will compete in the Federal League Championship at Jackson Memorial Middle School, and we would love to see a BIG crowd of Lake supporters along the course!

I’m a firm believer in taking care of business one week at a time, and our athletes have worked hard all season to put themselves in this position. If you haven’t heard, our boys team is currently ranked #1 in the state in Division II! Saturday will be a battle as we take on Hoover and Jackson for a Federal League title. Our girls have also been working hard and are ready to compete against some outstanding competition.

Now, we need our Lake family to help bring the energy!

Our kids LOVE seeing familiar faces cheering them on. Seeing a familiar face cheering from the sidelines can make a huge difference when the race gets tough. If you have a few hours Saturday morning, consider coming out to support our boys and girls. Bring your family, invite some friends, and bring those loud cheering voices!

Not only is it a great way to support our athletes, but you can also get your morning steps in while moving around the course! 😊

10:00 a.m. — Kids Running Club (400m & 1 mile)

10:30 a.m. — Boys Varsity (Top 7)

11:15 a.m. — Girls Varsity (Top 7)

12:00 p.m. — Boys JV

12:45 p.m. — Girls JV

1:45 p.m. — Middle School Boys

2:15 p.m. — Middle School Girls
