Each year for Veterans Day, we like to highlight the most memorable national cemetery we’ve visited that year. This year it has to be Andersonville National Cemetery in Georgia. We spent a full day earlier this year at the National Prisoner of War Museum, Andersonville Prison, and ended with the cemetery. Thank you to all veterans, past & present, for your service & sacrifice to our country.

Whenever we have a decent break from filming weddings, you can bet we're hitting the road, exploring the scenic routes & historical places. Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis is one of our favorite places to spend time during the sunset hour. Honoring our fallen service men & women while admiring the wildlife of the park provides a meaningful escape from the noise, and we're so grateful that it's there. (Not shown: Four huge skunks!)

The Park Place Lodge & Events in Jeffersonville, Indiana had their open house last night, and this new facility for weddings, retreats & gatherings looks incredible! They converted an old church into a space that not only provides all the amenities you need for your day, but also a lot of sleeping rooms and a huge variety of game rooms. Oh, and did I mention their theater room?🍿Hope to be back to capture a wedding some day, they did a great job!
