Week 2 of Empowering the Culture explores the many ways Games Culture fuels creativity and helps people share their voices with the world.

MEET THE TEAM

Today we're introducing Darrell Newsom, official DJ for Empowering the Culture and founder of Rell E Rell Productions.

For more than 30 years, Darrell has helped create memorable experiences through music, entertainment, and community engagement, becoming one of Northeast Ohio's most respected and trusted event professionals.

But for Darrell, music is about more than filling a room with sound.

It's about creating atmosphere.
It's about bringing people together.
It's about helping people feel connected to a moment they will remember long after it has passed.

Darrell's connection to INFINITEQUE goes back to the very beginning. In 2023, he helped bring the energy and soundtrack to TEQUE KNOW HOUSE v.001, INFINITEQUE's first public event—a gathering that brought together music, technology, Games Culture, storytelling, and community under one roof.

Many of the ideas explored during that event helped lay the foundation for the experiences we're continuing to build today.

Games Culture has always had a soundtrack.

From arcade cabinets and fighting game tournaments to late-night gaming sessions, community gatherings, and shared memories with friends, music has helped shape how people experience and remember those moments. Throughout Empowering the Culture, Darrell will help create the atmosphere that connects gaming, storytelling, creativity, competition, and community into one shared experience.

Because great events aren't remembered only for what happened.

They're remembered for how they made people feel.
