Passion is the spark; but, let’s be honest, it isn't the fuel.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the fire that starts a nonprofit. But passion is a feeling, not a sustainability plan. The difference between an organization that struggles to survive year-to-year and one that builds a lasting legacy is how they bridge that gap.
The most resilient nonprofits I see are the ones who back up their intentions with strategic planning and the kind of business-minded leadership that actually keeps the doors open.
Basically, lead with heart, but build with strategy. That’s how you become funding-ready and truly sustainable for the long haul.
If you’re wondering where your organization actually stands (and if you’ve successfully turned your passion into a solid foundation), I put together a tool to help you find out.

Missing something? That's fine. We can help fill the gaps.
