🎭 Calling All Oklahoma Royalty & Pageant Fans! 👑

I’m gathering details on the Miss Gay Angles preliminary to Miss Gay Oklahoma America—a vital piece of our state’s drag legacy. I’ve got a few pieces already (see screenshot), but I’m looking to fill in the gaps: dates, venues, titleholders, standout moments, and any archived media.

If you’ve competed, crowned, hosted, or cheered from the front row—your stories matter. Please drop memories, flyers, photos, or links in the comments. Let’s tag our formers and honor the queens who helped shape this stage.

📣 Unlike Bartlesville Equality, we actually stand with drag. Not performative allyship. Not empty statements. Just full-throated celebration, platforming, and protection of drag artists all month long.

🔥 August in Tulsa is stacked with drag, glitter, and community fire — and we’re just getting started. Fliers are dropping all month in our Facebook album, so keep checking back and share widely.

📸 More events will be added all month. Because drag deserves more than tolerance. It deserves reverence, promotion, pay, and protection. And in Tulsa, we make that happen.

We condemn the Bartlesville Equality board’s vote to ban drag from Pride.

Last year, we attended Bartlesville Pride and witnessed something extraordinary: a celebration that honored q***r joy, artistry, and resilience. The community didn’t just show up, they roared with love and support for the drag performers who made that day unforgettable.

This year, the board chose fear over freedom. Erasure over expression. They voted to silence the very performers who helped build the spirit of Pride in Bartlesville.

To the board: How dare you. How dare you abandon the backbone of this celebration: drag entertainers who have fought, danced, and thrived in the face of adversity. This decision is cowardice dressed up as compromise.

Drag is not the threat. Silence is.

We stand proudly with the performers, creators, and q***r community members harmed by this decision. Bartlesville Pride deserves better. And we will not forget who chose fear over freedom.
