At the end of the night we were wrapping up the load out. I said bye to Jordan and told her congrats again. She said “Today was perfect!”

Man! Was she right! Everything - the decor, the stress free day, and the celebration. It was like the love between them and all their family and friends was tangible! I don’t think we stopped smiling the whole day!

Part 2: Oh, what an adventure it has been!

Our close friend and pastor shared excitement with us when we shared our adoption date. She said “This is sooooo exciting! All the minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, prayers, tears that have led to this point! God is so good! So faithful!!!! ❤️🙌🏻🥰🙏🏻🎉” (if you know Leann, you know I literally copied this because all her favorite emojis are included - love you, friend ❤️)

Our oldest is officially a Roberts! We are so grateful! Hearing Judge Farris say “and with my signature on this paper work, you guys are a family! Forever!” Is something I will never ever forget ❤️

Of course comes the questions: Are you going to continue to foster? Is your home still open?

In short, yes - but there’s limits that require overfill forms because rules about kids and numbers and ages, etc… So, in the mean time, how do we continue to say “Yes!” - to these kiddos, to the call to foster, to celebrating these lives and journeys?

Chris and I have this conversation a lot, and to be transparent, there’s not a straight forward answer. However, in the mean time we did get to partner with an incredible non-profit for an event I’m so stinking excited about! It’s all my favorite things in one Sunday afternoon. I’ll tell you more later 🥳💗
