How much do I charge to pivot and change the entire original floral design just a day before the wedding?

Here is the breakdown of what we did…

•Scraped the entire original design and threw away all of our original recipes - reallocated flowers from the original plan and used those for upgraded centerpieces
•Pulled Harlow stands out of storage -sanded and spray painted them all gold…24 hours prior 😅
•Worked indoors vs outdoors around guest and staff -of course we cleaned and moped up so no evidence of said flowers were in sight
•transferred all flowers from inside - to the outdoor ceremony space …then back again for an extra work out 😉 (aka repurposed to the head table)
•More of the “unused” product got used indoors but this time in a fun way…where we pinned each strand of smilax to the draping (iykyk)
•our team not only worked in the rain but also helped mop up any rain brought in, worked with the amazing venue staff and coordinating team to dry each chair from ceremony and hand tie each cushion during cocktail hour while we simultaneously repurposed those ceremony flowers 😅🙌🏻

Final bill that was sent out for all the work and extra effort…
Zero dollars!

Why?! Because life happens and we CANNOT control the weather but we can control how we handle it and support our couples and their families. Did I have to work a little later than usual? Yep 😅 did I have to make a run to storage for stands then Home Depot for paint and sand bags? Yep! But I’d gladly do it all over again for every single one of my couples 🤍
