What a night!

Qualifying was rough for us going 5th quick in our group on a track with nothing but sand, managed to gain a spot in the heat race going 5-4 starting us 12th in the feature. The track was reworked and dialed for the 30 lap feature where we moved up 9 spots and finished 3rd!

Seems like were getting some momentum going hoping to carry it to the next one!

Unfortunate…
Our plans for Kart Kanyon are going to have to wait and we will see where we will be racing next.

💔 LEX HAWK CLASSIC POSTPONED 💔

Well… this is not the announcement we wanted to make.

Due to the City of Aztec moving into a Stage 3 water shortage, the Lex Hawk Classic scheduled for September 5–6 must be postponed.

Kart Kanyon receives its track-preparation water through a bulk-water account, and the new restrictions prevent us from obtaining the water necessary to safely prepare and maintain the track for a two-day event.

We are currently exploring other alternatives, but that all takes time.

The Lex Hawk Classic is postponed—not canceled. We will work to reschedule it as soon as conditions allow and announce a new date once we know we can safely and responsibly hold the event.

We know how many racers, families and fans were looking forward to this weekend. We were too. This was not an easy decision, but we’re doing everything possible to preserve the remainder of our 2026 racing season.

Now we need everyone to do a little rain dance and hope Mother Nature sends some much-needed moisture to Aztec and the surrounding area. 🌧️🙏

Late post from last nights race…
We started 3rd in our heat and finished 4th due to the motor cutting out yet again. Had us starting 8th for the feature and stayed there for most of the race until a late race pass moved me to 7th.

Our next race will be a short travel up to Kart Kanyon Speedway for the Lex hawk Classic September 5th and 6th!

Last night was definitely one of the better nights of the season. With the car finally running i managed to go 12-6 with still half the race to go. After a restart unfortunately still fighting battery issues i lost power steering and had to hang in there as much as i could. Ended up 9th.

We try again tonight for the final race at Deuce of Clubs Thunder Raceway for the 2026 season!

Pretty unfortunate heat race…

Ended up starting 3rd due to a car not starting and got a good jump off the start. I made some crucial errors not shifting on the start and setting up my front axle wrong led to me spinning out. Starting 12th in the main for 15 laps. Lets see what we can do…
