As you know, we always give back to the community. Every event we help raise funds for a nonprofit or organization that we feel aligned with or inspired by. This event we are hosting a raffle for school .academies that is opening up their preschool doors this August.

Ubuntu Academy is directly supporting early childhood education and is responding to the early literacy crisis in Tucson.

At our market this Friday, 2/20 from 4-7PM at the Pima County Historic Courthouse we will be hosting a raffle to raise funds for Uber to academies essential school supplies, and furniture. Check out our amazing in-kind sponsors who donated to the raffle:

Can’t make it to the event? You can still participate! Starting tomorrow we’ll be opening up an online raffle to put your bids in. Also, if you prefer to give directly check out the link in our bio where you can find Ubuntu Academy‘s Amazon wishlist and buy school supplies directly from there.

It starts with community, and there’s one thing we can all agree, which is giving children the best start through early education. Let us be the change that we wish to see.

Blk House Mrkt is more than a market! Every event we throw, we always give back to the community, this market we are hosting a fundraiser for .academies ‼️ We will be raffling off prizes from local businesses in Tucson. All funds will go towards an Amazon gift card to purchase needed items for the preschool💫 While you’re there you’ll also be able to support by purchasing items directly off their Amazon wish list!
