Many of you know that Kevin Hamilton has been working on projects related to the true musical genius that is Donny Hathaway. Earlier this year, Kevin & Tanishia had the honor of attending the "GRAMMY Salute To Music Legends" concert in Hollywood, Ca. In this amazing show, Mr. Donny Hathaway received a Special Merit Award for his contribution to American music.

His tribute was presented by Lalah Hathaway and Kenya C. Hathaway, who's performance mesmerized the entire Kodak Theatre and left the audience in awe. This special merit award was received by his widow, Hathaway, along with her daughters and grandchildren. It was a very special moment. You will be able to see the entire show on Oct. 18, 2019, which airs nationally on PBS.

The tribute concert will honor the Recording Academy's 2019 Special Merit Awards recipients, including Black Sabbath, Donny Hathaway, Dionne Warwick and more...
