Shannon Christine Photo My name is Shannon Dudley and I am a photographer with a simple love for this beautiful art form. Essentially, that is my mission.

When photography was first invented in the early 19th century, it was the first form of documentation available to all people. Not everyone could get afford to have their portrait painted, but with photography, it was different. Sitting for a photograph cost very little and, when André Desdéri came along, the carte de visite (a small post card-like print) allowed people to share multiple copies

of their portrait with loved ones. Over the past two hundred years, photographs have taken many different forms but the essence remains the same:

Everyone, not just the wealthy, should be able to hold their memories in their own two hands. I love photography and its history. I want it to be available to everyone so people can appreciate the beauty of this world and make the precious moments last a little longer.
