“A gorgeous New York day, a yacht on the water, and a love so vibrant it’s as picture-perfect as can be!”

Nick & Lauren decided there was no better way to celebrate their love than by gathering their favorite people, stepping aboard a private yacht, and cruising through New York City.

We headed south along the East River, passing the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, One World Trade Center, the NYC skyline, and eventually the Statue of Liberty before turning around and making our way back.

No formal gowns, no stuffy schedules. Just nautical casual, great friends, plenty of laughs, good drinks, and two amazing people enjoying every minute of it.

I officially dubbed it the Friend Boat because that's exactly what it was. Honestly, it was the Catalina Wine Mixer on the open water, with NYC as the backdrop.

“Some journeys make the destination even more beautiful.”

Roya and Brian are one of those couples you can’t help but smile around. Their connection, their sense of fun, and the love they share make every session with them an absolute joy.

I’ve had the privilege of capturing their journey from their engagement session, to their wedding day, and now this beautiful new chapter. It’s pretty special to watch a couple grow together and be there to capture these moments along the way.

We had an absolute blast at Edgerton Park, with two outfits, plenty of laughs, and even an outdoor performance by the Elm Shakespeare Company adding a little extra magic to the evening.

I absolutely love these two and couldn’t be happier to be part of another chapter in their story. I can’t wait to see where the journey takes them next.

“Some of life’s sweetest moments are the ones we never want to outgrow.”

It feels like just yesterday we were standing in this very same spot, photographing Allycia and Kyle’s wedding on that bitterly cold day. Now, years later, we’re back in the same place, but the veil and tux have been replaced by two adorable little Finnucan minions, Mason and Ava.

I’ve had the privilege of watching Allycia and Kyle's story unfold from their engagement, to their wedding, and now through the years as their family grows. And watching Mason and Ava together is pretty special too. A little playful, a little rough, and completely unmistakable brother and sister love.

There’s something so special about celebrating a growing family, and I was truly honored to be there to capture Roya's beautiful baby shower.

Kristy did an amazing job bringing everything together, creating such a beautiful setting to celebrate this exciting chapter. From the details to the moments shared with family and friends, it was a day filled with so much love and excitement for the little one on the way.

“Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones we never planned.”

Michelle, Gregory, and Julia are already such a beautiful family, and getting to capture them during this special season as they prepare to welcome another little one was truly something special.

We were originally headed to Silver Sands Beach, but Mother Nature had other plans with a pretty serious lightning storm. So we made a last minute change and found ourselves at Milford City Hall instead. Different scenery, different backdrop, but just as much beauty.

And maybe there’s something fitting about that. Families change, plans change, and life takes unexpected turns, but the love and memories we create along the way remain what matters most.

From the little moments shared between them to the special tattoo Michelle and Gregory carry as a meaningful reminder of their family, every detail made this session uniquely theirs.

Some memories are planned. Others simply unfold. And sometimes, the unexpected ones become the most beautiful.

"Sometimes the sweetest moments arrive after the storm."

After days of rain, humidity, and even a few extra beach visitors in the form of some very persistent bugs, we finally got the perfect evening to celebrate Abby & Carlo and the little boy who will soon be joining their family.

From laughing together to dancing in the water, their maternity session was filled with love, excitement, and the anticipation of a brand new adventure. Despite what Mother Nature threw our way, we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful evening to capture this special chapter in their lives.

Congratulations, Abby & Carlo! Your baby boy is already surrounded by so much love, and I am honored to have been able to capture these memories as you prepare to welcome him into the world.

"Every growing family is another chapter in a love story still being written."

Some stories are especially meaningful to tell. From photographing Jeannette and Josh's wedding, to their maternity session before Joe arrived, to capturing Joe as a newborn, and now celebrating the exciting news that he's about to become a big brother, this journey has been incredibly special. Watching Joe's excitement made this session even more unforgettable. Thank you for allowing me to continue preserving the milestones that matter most. “Sometimes the best moments are the ones you never planned.”

While wrapping up a family session with one of my longtime client families, we witnessed something truly special... a proposal. Before I could even process what had happened, my clients looked at me and said, “You have to take their photo!” Completely forgetting I was there for their session, they wanted to make sure this newly engaged couple had something to remember the moment by.

As I was packing up my gear, I caught up with them and offered to take a few photos to celebrate such an incredible milestone.

Congratulations, Jen and Dan, on your engagement! I hope these images become memories you’ll treasure for years to come. Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen by pure coincidence, and I’m grateful I was there to be a small part of yours.

"Some stories are too beautiful to fit into just one chapter."

Eight years ago, my journey with Kelly and Michael began, and what an incredible adventure it has been. From their engagement and wedding to maternity sessions, newborn photos, baby milestones, and family portraits, we've traveled all over Connecticut and even parts of Massachusetts together, capturing one unforgettable chapter after another.

This session was extra special as we celebrated not only another family photo session but also the upcoming arrival of their beautiful baby girl. Watching Lucas and Easton grow over the years has been such a privilege, and I already know they're going to be amazing big brothers.

Thank you, Kelly and Michael, for trusting me to preserve your family's story through every milestone. It is something I will never take for granted. Here's to the next beautiful chapter and welcoming your little girl into the world.

Every wedding has two stories.

At Anthony & Jessica’s reception, I handed my Insta360 camera to their friends and family and let them take over. The result? A perspective no photographer could ever capture alone—the dance floor, the laughs, the chaos, and all the moments happening in between.

I’m calling it Guest Cam Activated.

This is going to be part of every wedding I photograph from now on. If you start seeing it everywhere, just remember where you saw it first.
