This is a must see venue for any couple seeking a private location away from the public eye. If you want a space that makes you feel like your celebrity this is it! The property was originally owned by the railroad in 1800's and was purchased by a private family in 1918. The then owner started to built a small hunting lodge for him and his friends for a summer retreat and get away. The lodge was completed in 1924 on the edge of Deer Lake, which is a 9 acre glacier carved natural lake with native brook trout sounded entirely by the private 129 acres. The owner continued to build other buildings and ended up with 18 buildings and 18,000 Sqf. of indoor living space. Included in the building is a 4,500 Sqf. reception hall for events and corporate retreats, a 2,000 Sqf. commercial kitchen. 6 cabins that sleep up to 20 comfortably, with outdoor restroom/showers. The property lends itself to the most accessible event location in the entire Lake Tahoe area. Being in the middle of the Tahoe National Forest allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet and the also have a party until the early hours of morning without worrying about bothering the neighbors because we don't have any for miles. Our day of rental fee for the property starts at $15,000 and additional $3,500 per day you want to add for 2024 and goes up from there depending on your needs. The rental fee includes the Lake House for the bridal party to get ready, the Coronado Cabin for groomsmen, the lake front lawn for the ceremony, the beach for a cocktail reception before dinner and the reception hall for dinner and dancing. Bathrooms are centrally located throughout and parking is plentiful on site and with in 5 minutes of the ceremony spot.
