WE ARE A SMALL HOME BASED FLORAL BUSINESS IN Troutman North Carolina. I spend every weekend creating beautiful designs for brides to make their special day perfect! This is all in jeopardy because of this builder. This post in hopes of sharing what we are going through! Thank you all for help!
Friends! I NEED PRAYERS!!! I am under contract on a new construction home in Troutman with M/I Homes, Inc. for me and my girls so we can start fresh! The house is a disaster, cracked foundation, warped siding, plumbing and electrical issues. The builder is refusing to return deposit and is forcing us to close or lose 17K. How can I move my girls into an unsafe home! How is this fair that they can sell a new home with major problems. I contacted a lawyer and they said its not right and its expensive to fight them even with documentation from 3rd party inspector and misrepresentation on their part! He said he sees this all the time! How is this possible?
The Builder /Ihomes did not show up for the New Home Orientation and the letter from their lawyer said close or we lose our money. They never address how to fix the issues.
Owning a home is supposed to be the American dream. Not an American Disaster! WBTV News WSOC-TV WCCB Charlotte's CW Wfae 90-7 National Public Radio WCNC Charlotte
