I say this with so much love and experience… 💛

One of the biggest (and most preventable) stressors I see with my brides is hiring a “family friend” or “friend of a friend” for an important wedding role without anything in writing. Handling this is a delicate situation but I ALWAYS have my clients best interest in mind.

I completely understand the intention — you trust them, you want to support someone you know, and it can feel more comfortable than hiring a vendor. But when there’s no contract, no clear expectations, and no defined responsibilities, things can quickly become unclear… and unfortunately, sometimes fall apart.

A few things to think about:
✨ What exactly are they responsible for?
✨ What time are they arriving and leaving?
✨ What happens if something goes wrong or they can’t show up?
✨ What experience do they have?

This isn’t about doubting someone’s character — it’s about protecting your big investment...your wedding day!

Your wedding day is not the place for “we’ll figure it out.” It deserves structure, professionalism, and accountability… no matter who you hire.

The best-case scenario? Everything goes smoothly AND your relationships stay intact because expectations were clearly set from the beginning. 🤍

If you do hire someone you know, just make sure you still treat it like a professional agreement. A simple contract or written agreement can make all the difference.

You deserve to be fully present, stress-free, and soaking in every moment of your day — not troubleshooting preventable issues. ✨

Seven years… and wow, what a ride it’s been. 💜

When I started this journey, I knew I loved weddings—but what I didn’t realize was how much I would come to love everything that comes with them… the families, the stories, the behind-the-scenes moments, the chaos, the magic, all of it.

To my couples: thank you for trusting me with such a huge part of your lives. I know these aren’t just “events”—these are your memories, your people, your once-in-a-lifetime moments. Being the one you trust to bring that all together? That’s something I never take lightly.

To my clients beyond weddings—showers, parties, celebrations of all kinds—thank you for letting me be part of your milestones too. I truly do so much more than weddings, and I’m so grateful you’ve seen and trusted that in me.

There are moments in this business that remind me exactly why I do what I do… and this wedding was one of them.

Being invited back to plan the second daughter’s wedding for this incredible family felt like the biggest honor.
Same love, same joy, and the sweetest reunion — but this time in beautiful Savannah, GA. 🌿✨

From travel logistics and vendor magic to the final candle being lit, every detail was filled with intention… and so much love.
Watching another daughter walk into forever surrounded by her favorite people truly filled my heart.
