We have about 1/2 acre set aside for our garden and orchard right now. We’ll have more room for trees later. We currently have 2 producing pear trees, tons of blackberries, and 1 non-producing apple tree. This is our first time having a north Georgia garden! We are on a mountain if that matters. With 3 vegetarians in the house, we want a big variety. What would you plant? What grows well? How do YOU prefer to preserve? Are there any pages you follow we should check out?

As we close out this year at Crunchy Acres, our hearts are full of gratitude.
This year brought 17 weddings and 1 commitment ceremony, each one a reminder of the sacredness of marriage and the honor it is to walk alongside couples as they begin their lives together. We are deeply thankful for the trust placed in us during such meaningful moments and can’t wait to serve more couples next year.
On the farm, we also celebrated important milestones. We built a barn and finished fencing our pasture, tangible reminders of God’s provision and faithfulness through every step of growth.
Thank you to every couple, family, vendor, and supporter who has been part of this journey. We pray blessings over each marriage and look forward to what the coming year holds as we continue this work with purpose and gratitude.

I really thought I was done with middle of the night feedings once my kids got older. We’re not even that far out from it- Levi is 4. Turns out God had a sense of humor and sent me a premature goat.
This morning I’m laughing at the fact that I was up overnight, half asleep, bottle in hand, whispering “please drink faster” while being stared down by a tiny goat who definitely did not care about my sleep schedule.
Apparently parenting skills never expire. They just get reassigned.

⭐️unfortunately the rain came early. Everything had to be moved inside. Please comment your interest below and we can work out a time to come look. ⭐️
Free items on the sidewalk. ONLY items on the sidewalk. All of these have been stored for several moves. Most will need cleaned. They’re in otherwise good condition. A little bit of everything but mostly kids toys now. Take only what you personally will use so there’s something for others. Please DON’T message. We will try to respond to comments here but are pretty busy on Sundays. No holds at all. First come, first served. If you’re interested, drive over and look. This has been posted in the local free groups for a few days now. We won’t set it out after today due to weather. What’s left will be brought in at dark. We also have couches and a recliner for SALE. If interested in more information on those, please comment below. Kona is not included. She just decided to photobomb.

The difference a month makes! In the first picture, Opal was 3 days old. The second picture was Christmas. Opal will be 4 weeks old tomorrow!

Many people living in our area have seen the bus stop es**rts. I was lucky enough to get one to the mailbox and back last week. Hagrid, Chewy (Chewbarka), Ginny, Reina, and Beatrix. Couldn’t be safer.
