Today I honor my mom — the pillar behind the woman I became — while also honoring the incredible women who paved the way for us all. A single mother of three, she worked tirelessly, often holding two or even three jobs, yet still found time to hand-sew the most creative Halloween costumes and bake special treats for our cousins and friends to share.

Her strength, love, kindness, work ethic, loyalty, and creativity shaped so much of who I am today. The road was never easy, and things were far from perfect, but I will always admire her determination and her unwavering commitment, even when life felt incredibly hard.

Today I celebrate my mom and all the remarkable women who helped shape the strong, determined women of the world.❤️

There is nothing quite like standing in a place that holds so many beautiful family memories, surrounded by your favorite people, and realizing — this is your wedding day! Taking in the quiet glances, sound of laughter, and the way everything feels just right.

When you have a planning team you trust, you do not have to worry about all of the details happening behind the scenes. You can truly be present — taking it all in, feeling every emotion, and knowing you can simply live in the moment.

Being part of V&M’s wedding day was truly so special. This was the third celebration we have had the honor of planning for this incredible family, and each time, our hearts are filled with so much gratitude for the trust they place in our team. 🤍

We will continue to operate Conradie Event Design with the same excellence we always have—planning & designing alongside our valued local venues and partners, we are honored to announce a new chapter in our evolution: Loamstead.

Loamstead is a purpose-driven collaboration rooted in community and centered around exceptional hospitality. Its co-ownership and leadership team represents a collective of accomplished professionals whose combined expertise, integrity, and shared values form the foundation of this new endeavor:

Nestled along the quiet shores of a beloved family lakefront property, the wedding day of A&L was filled with deep meaning and memories layered across generations. The couple exchanged vows lakeside, framed by a stunning floral arch! The coastal blues were woven throughout the day, reflecting both the lake’s ever-changing tones and the ease of being surrounded by those who love & know them best. Celebrating their wedding here was a meaningful tribute to the special history of their family home & the loving memories shared over the years.
