FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
Hello my friends,
My name is Jake Hallen, and if weāve never had the chance to meet, I am the face behind Tracy Celebrates Children.
Today, Iām announcing that after three unforgettable years, Iāll be stepping away from Tracy Celebrates Children as I move to Los Angeles this summer to continue my education.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to bring this event back to the children of Tracy after a five year hiatus. This event changed my life.
It showed me what this community is capable of. I always believed in Tracy, but seeing thousands of people come together with one shared purpose, to make children smile, made me fall in love with this city in an entirely new way. I witnessed kindness, generosity, and compassion on a scale Iāll never forget.
Most of all, this event taught me something Iāll carry with me forever: our world desperately needs community. In a time when itās so easy to feel disconnected, Tracy Celebrates Children reminded me that there is something incredibly powerful about simply showing up for one another.
To everybody who supported this event, volunteered, sponsored, attended, or believed in the visionā¦ thank you.
Tracy Celebrates Children, thank you for believing in me, trusting me, and giving me the opportunity to bring this beautiful event back to life. I love you forever.
While my time as Event Director is coming to an end, this is not goodbye. Iām excited to pass the torch to Khelsi Stone as she steps into the role on July 1, and Iāll continue supporting Tracy Celebrates Children remotely as a Senior Advisor
And no matter where life takes me next, a piece of my heart will always belong to Tracy (especially when she celebrates her children)
