How do you say thank you to someone who has been so much more than a babysitter for the past 4 years? Someone you’ve trusted 100% with your 2 special needs children.

Someone who kept your kids occupied when you received devastating medical news, and whose family sent you dinner when they knew you were struggling, who cuddled your kids, made them laugh and even learned to discipline them in a loving and respectful way?

Kate, you are wise beyond your years, so loving and wonderful. You have made a huge impact on our lives and we will miss you so much. Honestly, I’ll probably miss our little post-babysitting chats the most. You’re an amazing person and we can’t wait to see what you do next in MA…and then hopefully back in Baltimore if we’re lucky :) There will always be a place in our home, our hearts and at our Passover Seder/Hanukkah party/Shabbat table.

I’ll give you these flowers soon, and hopefully I won’t cry.

We’re partnering with for a morning of brunch and blooms on Mother’s Day, 5/10, at 10:30 am. No cooking, cleaning or planning necessary. Simply show up to the community room at for a fun experience and a delicious meal. Better yet, bring your mom or a mom friend 👯‍♀️

No experience necessary! All supplies are provided, and you’ll go home with a beautiful arrangement of your own creation.

🌸💐Mother’s Day is live in the shop, and boy, it’s gonna be a good one!

Choose from beautiful bouquets, vases bursting with local blooms (add a gift certificate if you’re feeling fancy- mom deserves a massage!), and a floral design workshop + full brunch spread from on 5/10.

The deets: all flowers are available for free pickup at .fit 💪on 5/9 and 5/10. Delivery is also available!

Workshop takes place Mother’s Day morning, 5/10, at 10:30 in ’s common room. I’ll share the brunch menu in another post! ☕️🍳💐

Honestly debated posting this picture because for some reason, this arrangement was extremely hard to accurately capture. In person, it’s truly breathtaking. Who knew you could make an arrangement with just 1 type of flower and a few stray pieces of greenery?

Did I mention these are all repurposed from weekly client arrangements, so they’re 1+ weeks old? If you harvest them at the right stage and make sure to process them correctly, they last for SUCH a long time.

The sun is shining (and the snow is FINALLY melting) and it’s giving me the dopamine boost I needed to start thinking SPRING.
