•An impressive onsite house that sleeps up to sixteen.
•An executive conference center that can seat up to 75.
•A staff of seasoned event coordinators and wedding consultants that can help you plan and coordinate your special day.
•Sprawling grounds surrounded by a clear spring-fed creek and beautiful forested paths.
•Numerous sites for outdoor weddings. You will only be limited by your imagination.
•Full setup and tear down services along with event staffing and assistance.

Guest experience is the thing couples forget to ask about, and it is what people remember. Out here, that means parking close to the venues, golf carts to move guests and gear around the property, a handicap accessible site, indoor bathrooms, a heated barn when the evening turns cold, and lawn games like giant Jenga and corn hole for the gap between ceremony and dinner. Small things, big differences for grandparents and kids.

"How much time do we actually get on our wedding day?" Here is the real schedule. The barn is yours starting at 9:00 a.m. the day of your event, last call for alcohol is 10:30 p.m., music goes off at 11:00, and the barn needs to be cleared by 11:30. That is a full day, and our basic wedding coordinator service is included with the venue, so you are not tracking all of it alone.

The Woods Conference Center has heat and air, a sound system, HD televisions, a projector screen and free WiFi, and the Boot Scootin' Barn seats up to 330 for the dinner-and-dancing version. Fifteen minutes from Wichita, on 150 acres, with the lights up outside. It beats a hotel ballroom and your team will actually remember it.

The Christmas dates worth putting on your calendar right now. Supper with Santa: November 27 and December 4. Traditional Christmas Dinner: December 11, 18 and 23. Pancakes with Santa: Saturdays December 5, 12, 19 and 24. These are the first events to sell out every year, because there are only so many seats at the event.

A little about the family behind the farm. Betty and David Corbin have hosted events here for three decades and celebrated 60 years of marriage during one of our Christmas seasons. This is a working farm that welcomes agritourism visitors from around the world, and Betty's whole thing is helping groups make memories together. Guests tend to leave feeling like part of the family, which is exactly the point.

Two policies worth asking any venue about before you sign, because they quietly decide your budget. First, vendors: we have an open vendor policy, so bring the caterer and photographer you actually want, or use our commercial kitchen and cater it yourself. Second, alcohol: b**r, w**e and ch*****ne are welcome. If you want to serve liquor you will need a licensed bartending service, and no glass bottles on the property unless a service is handling them.
