We are excited to announce that Tina’s Cafe 38 will be participating in Torrington Restaurant Week 2026!

Join us at the Kickoff Event on Thursday, June 18, from 6–9 PM at Bad Dog Brewing Company, where we’ll be serving an assortment of complimentary samples and giving everyone a taste of what makes Tina’s Cafe 38 so special.

Restaurant Week is a wonderful opportunity to support local restaurants, discover new favorites, and celebrate the amazing food community we have right here in Torrington. We’re honored to be part of this event and can't wait to share some of our homemade creations with you.

The Torrington Strawberry Festival is happening today from **10:00 AM to 3:00 PM** at **Coe Memorial Park in Downtown Torrington**, and we’re excited to be part of it!

For today only, **Tina’s Café 38 will be closed** as our entire team will be on-site at the festival. It truly is an all-hands-on-deck day for us, and we can't wait to serve everyone at this wonderful community event.

We hope you'll come out and support not only us, but also the many local small businesses, vendors, volunteers, and organizations that have worked tirelessly to help make this year's festival a success.

📣 Today's Hours Update 📣

Due to Senior Prom and the Downtown Torrington Car Show tonight, we'll be operating on a split schedule today.

☕ Open for lunch: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
🚗 Reopening tonight: 6:00 PM – approximately 9:00 PM

We will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, May 30, but you can find us at the Strawberry Festival at Coe Memorial Park in downtown Torrington from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

It's a busy and exciting weekend for our family and our business as we celebrate Senior Prom, participate in some great community events, and celebrate Larry's birthday! 🎉

As most of you know, every birthday is truly a blessing and a celebration after the health rollercoaster he's been through over the years. We are especially grateful to be celebrating another trip around the sun with him today. ❤️

We can't wait to see familiar faces at the shop, downtown tonight, or at the Strawberry Festival tomorrow.

These next couple of weeks are a whirlwind as my youngest wraps up her high school career, but I couldn’t be more proud of all she has accomplished! ❤️

Because of volunteering, prom festivities, and Strawberry Festival prep, we will be closing early the next few days. Today we close at 3 PM and Friday we will close at 2 PM for Sophia’s Senior Prom. ✨

Then Saturday we will be closed but come visit us at the Strawberry Festival where for the first time ever we’ll have our very own booth in the Food Arena! 🍓

PS: If you’re coming to the car show Friday night in downtown Torrington, we will be reopening around 5:30 PM!

We had a great morning visiting with Mike Criss (running for State Senate) and Ryan Fazio (running for Governor).

Hi friends!

Tonight we are participating in A Tasteful Event benefiting Friends in Service to Humanity. While we can’t attend in person due to our daughter being honored at a scholarship event, we’ll be sending along a delicious spread and a raffle gift to support this amazing cause.

Because of tonight’s events, Tina’s Cafe 38 will be closing at 3pm.

Also, don’t forget to stop by this morning to 75 Main Street in downtown Torrington for a cup coffee on the house from 11am–12pm and meet Ryan Fazio and Michael Criss!
