Two years ago, we opened the doors to our new location, but Tina's Cafe 38 has always been about so much more than serving food.
As I reflect on this anniversary, I keep coming back to what matters most... the people.
I don't think I could ever choose just one favorite customer because so many of you have become like family. I've had the privilege of watching children grow up, celebrating graduations, cheering on new jobs, welcoming new babies, and sharing in life's biggest milestones. Some of you have been with me for years, and that is something I will never take for granted.
There are customers who come in on the same day every week. We know their favorite table, their favorite meal, and sometimes we have it started before they even sit down. Not because we've memorized an order, but because we've gotten to know the person behind it.
One of the greatest blessings of owning this cafe has been the opportunity to care for people. Sometimes that means serving a homemade bowl of soup. Sometimes it means sharing a laugh, listening when someone needs someone to talk to, or offering a little encouragement on a day that feels especially hard.
Food may bring people through our doors, but relationships are what have built this cafe.
To every customer who has supported us, encouraged us, laughed with us, cried with us, or simply made Tina's Cafe 38 part of your routine... thank you. You have helped create something so much bigger than a business. You have helped create a community, and I feel incredibly blessed to be a small part of your lives.
