ntahala National Forest. We specialize in unforgettable celebrations that capitalize on Nantahala’s natural beauty and your unique style, leaving you and your guests with memories you’ll treasure forever. No noise restrictions! Location
We are a destination wedding location with a focus on nature. The lake, mountains, river, and waterfalls provide a wide variety of activities for your guests – boating, swimming, whitewater rafting, hiking, and fishing – as well as spectacular wedding photo opportunities. The Venue
Our venue has the serenity of a private park, so little decorating is needed to make it sparkle. We focus on simplicity by providing everything you need in one low price with the exception of lodging, flowers, food, and beverages. The Ceremony
Take your vows at our lake and mountain view ceremony area (150 yards from covered reception area) or on Wayah Bald on the Appalachian Trail at over 5,300 feet elevation (just 11 miles from the venue). Our rain plan is an outdoor ceremony chapel adjacent to the reception area. Lodging
Starting in 2021, we'll have onsite lodging for 14 people. Please see our website fro details: www.nantahalaweddings.com. Season
Our venue is at 3,000 feet, where temperatures are 10-15 degrees lower than temps in the surrounding area: high 60s to low 70s in late April and May, mid to high 70s in June, low 80s in July and August, and back into the 70s in September and October. That means perfect temps for summer weddings. It also means early April and November can bring chilly weather, which is why our season runs from late April thru end of October.
