This was such a special moment!!! I was walking in NOTO when a lady stopped me and said, “Hey!! You were at my daughter’s birthday party!” And there was her daughter right there with her. She’s 12 now, but guess how old she was when I came to her party? ONE!!! 😮😮

I was thrilled to not only see someone whose very first birthday I got to help celebrate… but I was especially happy to see what a sweet young lady she has become.

She was so kind to share her really cool candy with me, which I enjoyed at the end of a long day. She is very talented at styling hair and was a wonderful conversationalist.

I hope she sees this post and knows what a special girl she is. 🩷🩷🩷

I don’t know about you, but I am NOT a fan of ASMR… but sometimes, I have to adapt at work for first-time experiences. 😂

And guess what? Everyone was SO kind to adapt with me!

I filmed this video back in June, but just this past week TWO separate kids came up to me and said, “Hey! You’re the clown who lost her voice!!” They were excited to talk to me.

I loved that I made an impression on them even without a voice. Most of all, I hope they still felt just as special even though I couldn’t communicate with them the way I normally do. 🩷🩷

Edit to add: It’s important to me that I don’t spread any illness while I’m working, so I just wanted to let you know that I wasn’t sick here - I had recovered from an cold when I suddenly lost my voice later! ☺️Really weird!
