Lakeside Occasions is home to a beautifully restored dairy barn, known as The Guernsey, that is now a popular place for weddings from April through November. The barn has been in the (Byers - Hostetler) family for five generations and still contains much of the original woodwork. Our farm is set upon 60+ acres overlooking Emma Lake in Topeka, Indiana.

We decided to transform the barn into a wedding venue back in late 2012 and were up and running by June 2013. It has truly been a labor of love for the Byers family and our number one goal is to provide the perfect setting for your dream wedding. We have many unique amenities that make for a fun, memorable experience for couples and their guests.

Our property is tough to beat, so be sure to schedule a tour before you decide on a venue because the pictures really don’t do this place justice!
