For generations, this house has watched life unfold at Cedar Lawn Farm.

Marriage and farming have more in common than you might think. 🌱🤎

Both begin with planting something small and believing in what it can become. Neither grows overnight. They require patience, strong roots, steady care and faith through every changing season. When tended with love, that tiny seed eventually becomes something beautiful, abundant and lasting.

That connection is part of what makes weddings at Cedar Lawn Farm so special.

Only a small portion of our 160 acres is used for celebrations. The farmland surrounding the venue is leased for growing corn and soybeans, while we grow vegetables of our own—including these sweet little tomatoes ripening on the vine. 🍅

Long before couples began exchanging vows beneath these Kansas skies, this land was being planted, worked and cared for. Now, new marriages begin here too—two people putting down roots, planting the seeds of a life together and trusting that what they nurture will grow.

Today, we’re slowing down, taking a breath, and celebrating the hardworking hands that keep our families, farms, and communities growing. We are especially grateful for every person who helps care for this land and make each Cedar Lawn wedding feel like home.

We’ll return tomorrow, rested and ready to help create more beautiful beginnings beneath these wide Kansas skies.

The luxury of Cedar Lawn has never been about being loud.

It’s the quiet.

The kind you only find when the weekend slows and the land has room to breathe again.

It’s standing at the edge of a field while the Kansas wind moves through the grass.

It’s watching the Flint Hills disappear into the horizon.

It’s old trees casting long shadows, warm light spilling across the prairie, and a sunset so beautiful you forget to reach for your phone.

On wedding weekends, Cedar Lawn comes alive.

But on the slow weekends?

She rests.

Cedar Lawn Farm is looking for a little extra help around the property! 🌿

We’re looking for someone reliable who can spend about 1–2 hours a day helping us keep the farm looking beautiful and wedding-ready.

Duties would mainly include:
• Watering flowers and plants daily
• Pulling weeds as needed
• Light outdoor cleanup
• Helping keep our landscaped areas neat and cared for

This would be a great little part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys being outdoors, loves plants, and is dependable.
