A little glimpse of the mid-demo renovations! 🛠️✨

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but we’re hopeful the finished product will beautifully highlight the gorgeous original character and charm of this historic home. We can’t wait to see it all come together! 🤍

We’ve added plenty of parking behind the venue to accommodate all of our event guests. We also poured a new concrete patio with wheelchair-accessible access and updated the front sidewalks leading to the entrance to make arriving at Miss Eva’s even more welcoming and convenient.

Every step is bringing us closer to opening our doors, and we can’t wait to share it with you! 🤍

Progress is happening at Miss Eva’s House of Events! 🎉

Cody Compton Construction has begun forming the new concrete sidewalks leading to the street and around the right side of the house, where we’re adding a wheelchair-accessible entrance, patio, and parking area.

Inside, TEC Construction is making incredible progress by hanging drywall and installing beautiful trim throughout the house. Tooley HVAC is working hard to get our new HVAC system up and running. It’s exciting to see everything coming together!

Renovations and demolition of Miss Eva's house began in October 2025. We have entrusted TEC Contracting LLC with the task of fully restoring this historic home to its beautiful former glory while preserving the character and charm that have made it so special over the years.

Though the transformation is just beginning, we are excited to share the journey as this beloved house is carefully brought back to life. Follow along for updates as each chapter of Miss Eva's house unfolds. 🏡✨

Demolition is underway on the old Greenhouse & Gift Shop once owned and operated by Eva Kirkpatrick and later carried on by Evadene Kirkpatrick. As this longtime local landmark begins a new chapter, we would love to hear and preserve the memories connected to it.

If you have stories, photos, memories, or bits of history about the shop, please share them in the comments. Whether you remember shopping there, working there, holiday visits, special gifts, or the beautiful greenhouse itself, we would love to collect those memories and celebrate the impact this special place had on our community for so many years.
