Here are a few photography tips we always recommend to our couples:
1. Don’t focus on posing perfectly.
Some of the most beautiful images happen naturally. Laugh, move, hug, dance, and enjoy each other. Your photographer will guide you when needed!
2. Trust your photographer.
You’ve chosen them for their eye and expertise, so let them do what they do best. Even if a pose feels a little awkward at first, trust us — it usually photographs beautifully. 😉
3. Give yourself enough time for photos.
One of the biggest mistakes couples make is not allowing enough time for portraits. Building photo time into your timeline keeps the day relaxed and gives your photographer the opportunity to capture everything without rushing.
4. Remember the details.
Your rings, bouquet, invitations, shoes, dress, tablescape, and all those little details you’ve spent months choosing deserve to be documented, too!
5. Be present.
At the end of the day, the photos you’ll treasure most aren’t necessarily the perfectly posed ones. They’re the ones that bring you right back to how you felt.
