Hey friends. Just a reminder we got art and music and stuff out at the Loose Cobra and the adjacent warehouse (123 e main) today. Come on up/down and look at some art, buy some art, and then stick around for a special matinee performance at the bar by Dave Pride and the East Side Five. Please bring a $5er or $10er for the glowing orange bucket to help me take care of the band, if you would please. Very much hope to see you! Hey friends. Just a friendly reminder that I have a metric s**t ton of metal up in the Loose Cobra tonight. Local warriors Harpe headlines tonight, with Chicago based dirtbags Coronary, Requient, and Black Cross Hotel opening things up. Music starts at 8:00 sharp. Please bring a $10-spot for the bucket (or more, if you can, as we have alot of gas tanks to fill.) Also, we got all the sports and stuff today. Come by this afternoon for some baseball and stick around for some metal and Illini tournament buckets! Metal, basketball, baseball, strawberry margs, excellent service from Jeanie today and Becca this evening, clean bathrooms and free water and air. This place has everything. Ya know, this time of year i often get the question: "What are you guys doing for New Year's Eve?" To which i might reply: "I dunno, tolerating it?" That said, as bartender of note today until close, i'll do my best. I have fresh strawberry margs, and good whiskeys for an Old Fashioned, and the nice Italian vermouth for a perfect Manhattan. Hope remains a thing with feathers, but, i did make some chili for some reason. OSU/Miami at 6:30 (thankfully), and a pour of bubbly at midnight (or whenever), if you want. I'm happy to drop the ball, so to speak, at anytime. Well, good luck everyone. Better luck next year. -mt
