A massive thank you to everyone that chose Peter Green Flowers to celebrate this Mother’s Day! This is always the most exhausting few weeks for flower farming.. between harvesting thousands of tulips for days, planting out hardy annuals as fast as possible, top dressing and fertilizing, processing tulips, designing, wrapping, alwaaays cleaning buckets…prom, graduations, teacher appreciations.. but at the end of every day when I finally get to rest and reflect.. I am just so GRATEFUL. There are many choices out there for flowers so THANK YOU to those that chose little old me 💕 my hands are sore but my heart is FULL 💕 🌷

These gorgeous Beach berry tulips look lovely paired with Wyndham..
Specialty tulips like these and all the others I grow are an expensive crop and many other flower farmers aren’t even bothering anymore as they are not a money maker.. the ones holding on call them a loss leader. I do it because no other tulip on the market compares and they bring me SO MUCH JOY!

I hope to see you all at the market on Saturday, on Sunday and I will be dropping off wrapped bunches to for Saturday as well.

Tulips may have a short season but it’s a glorious one!
