A Sip & See done DIFFERENT. 🥂✨

I had an amazing time being part of the White Birch Wedding Barn Sip & See + Styled Shoot, and this video gives you just a glimpse of how beautifully everything came together.

The entire idea was to create something that felt less like a traditional bridal expo and more like walking into an actual wedding day — beautiful styling, florals, food, drinks, music, and an incredible team of wedding professionals bringing the venue to life.

A huge thank you to Lauryn King and the White Birch Wedding Barn team for having DJ One Tyme as the exclusive DJ for the event. 🎧

From the styled shoot to the layout and overall atmosphere, everything was absolutely flawless. And getting to meet couples, connect with other vendors, and be part of that experience made it even better.

Events like this are exactly why I love what I do. It’s not just about playing music — it’s about helping create the atmosphere people remember. ❤️

From a cornfield ceremony to a packed dance floor under the stars. 🌽💍🔥

Mr. & Mrs. Dylan & Makayla Bednarski had one seriously unforgettable wedding at Field of Dreams Drive-In.

The ceremony took place outdoors with the cornfield as the backdrop, then we moved under the huge reception tent and turned the entire space into a party.

But what made this one extra special was the history.

About five years ago, I DJ’d Dylan’s parents’ wedding. This time, his father Ken officiated the ceremony while I came back to help another generation of the family celebrate.

That’s a full-circle moment I won’t forget. ❤️

The bridal party understood the assignment. 😂🔥

One of my favorite parts of a wedding reception is the introductions because this is the moment where we officially flip the switch from ceremony to PARTY. 🎤🎶

Dylan & Makayla’s bridal party came in ready, and I had the pleasure of bringing them into the reception at Field of Dreams Drive-In!

Anybody can read names from a list.

My job is to build the energy BEFORE the bride and groom ever walk through that entrance. 💍🔥

🌽 FROM A CORNFIELD… TO A FULL-BLOWN WEDDING PARTY! 💍🔥

Mr. & Mrs. Dylan & Makayla Bednarski definitely gave me a wedding to remember!

The day started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the cornfield at Field of Dreams Drive-In, with Dylan’s dad, Ken, officiating. Then we moved under the big tent and completely changed gears. 😎

And here’s the part that still makes me laugh…

ALL OF THAT WAS RUNNING OFF ONE PLUG. 🔌😂

But what made this wedding really special was the history. Five years ago, I DJ’d Dylan’s parents Ken & Michelle’s wedding. Now I’m watching Ken officiate his son’s ceremony while I’m back to DJ another Bednarski wedding.

That’s full circle. That’s family. And that’s pretty damn cool. ❤️

Congratulations again, Dylan & Makayla! Thank you for letting DJ One Tyme be part of the next chapter.

And judging by that Photo Booth picture… somebody holding the “I WANT TO BE NEXT” sign might have just put me on notice for another wedding. 👀😂💍

FULL CIRCLE. 💍🌽🎶

This past Saturday, I had the honor of DJing and hosting the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Dylan & Makayla Bednarski at Field of Dreams Drive-In!

This one was definitely different — in the best way.

🌽 Ceremony out in the middle of a cornfield
🎪 Reception under a huge tent in the drive-in theater
💡 Uplighting throughout the tent
📸 Photo Booth for the guests
🎯 Yard Party Games outside
🎶 DJ + MC for the celebration
🔌 And somehow… we powered ALL of it from ONE plug! 😂🙌🏾

But the coolest part of the night was the story behind it.

Five years ago, I DJ’d the wedding of Dylan’s parents, Ken & Michelle — a wedding I’ll never forget because Michelle eventually showed up to the reception wearing a UNICORN COSTUME! 🦄😂

Fast-forward five years…

Their son Dylan is getting married, Ken is officiating the ceremony, and I’m back behind the DJ booth helping the next generation of the family celebrate.

That was a real full-circle moment. ❤️

From the parents’ wedding to the son’s wedding… same family, new chapter, another unforgettable night.

Congratulations, Dylan & Makayla! Thank you for trusting me with such a big part of your day.

And Ken & Michelle… somehow we made it through this wedding with zero unicorn sightings. 😂🦄

THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND.

This picture might look like a simple selfie.

But there are more than 30 years of stories standing behind those glasses.

I started as a teenager in Jamaica, Queens, fascinated by what a DJ could do with two turntables and the right record. My cousin DJ Big T helped introduce me to that world, and I never really left it.

What started with music became radio. Clubs. College radio. Hip-hop. Traveling. Touring. DJ conferences. Cameras. DVDs. Internet broadcasting before anybody called it “content creation.” I built StreetDrops.com, recorded artists, traveled to places I never imagined music would take me, and kept finding new ways to turn creativity into opportunity.

There were nights at the Peacock, Mano’s, Jesse James and countless other rooms. There were Core DJs conferences, SXSW, years of March Madness, artists, celebrities, packed dance floors, weddings, birthdays, community events—and plenty of gigs nobody will ever see pictures from.

I watched DJing change from crates of records to CDs, laptops, controllers, music videos, social media and now TikTok Live.

And somehow…

I’m still here.

Not trying to recreate who I was at 20.

Building on him.

Today, DJ One Tyme is bigger than somebody standing behind DJ equipment.

I’m a DJ.
An MC.
A businessman.
A content creator.
A storyteller.
And after all these years, still a student of this thing called music.

I’ve had successes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve reinvented myself more than once. I’ve watched trends come and go. I’ve watched rooms change, technology change and generations change.

But one thing never changed:

Give me a room full of people and some music, and I’m going to figure out how to connect them.

That’s probably the part of my career I’m proudest of.

Not just how long I’ve been doing it.

It’s that after all these years, I still love doing it.

At 17 or 18, I couldn’t have imagined where those turntables would take me.

And at 50?

I’m not looking backward like the story is finished.

Quite the opposite.

There are still parties to rock.
Businesses to build.
Videos to create.
Places to travel.
People to meet.
And chapters that haven’t even been written yet.

So maybe the shirt has it almost right…

THE MAN.
That’s who I am.

THE MYTH.
Those are all the stories people have heard over the years. 😂

THE LEGEND?

I’ll let everybody else decide that one.

I had the pleasure of DJing Tameisha’s 50th Birthday Celebration, and the assignment was simple:

Make sure EVERYBODY has a good time. 🎧🔥

Apparently, I took that a little too seriously… because when the line dance started falling apart, I left the DJ booth, hit the dance floor and helped get everybody back together. 😂😂

That’s the difference.

I’m not there just to press play.

I read the room. I interact with your guests. I take requests. I help create the moments people are still talking about after the party is over.

And when you add the Photo Booth? 📸
Now we’re creating memories you actually get to take home.
