Stoked to announce our End of Summer Bash weekend… two days back home in Columbia, SC with all the homies. Things kick off on Friday, August 14th at The Spaze with a birthday gig for featuring and straight edge royalty + with an after party hosted by + spinning. Dangerous Game in the Spaze is going to be crazy and having What Counts down here has me stoked. Oh and will be slinging burgers in the parking lot all night. Saturday kicks off with a pre-party at the Candi Lane Riverwalk hosted by - bring your swimsuits and sunscreen and come hang from 3pm-7pm with some dj’s outdoors on the water at one of the coolest spots in Columbia. And on Saturday night… the grand finale at the one and only … SELFISH MEANS headliner with friends @7.62fafo + … first time at Art for all of these bands so let’s pack the room. After party dj sets by + .josef.wav. Jamaal turned Art inside out with his surprise set at the New Year’s Eve Party and I’ve been dying to throw him on something since so don’t miss it. Bands at 8:30, DJ’s from 12-2! Truly just wanted excuse to get all the homies and freaks in town under one (or two) roofs for one whole weekend so get your plans together for a weekend in the Soda City. After much thought and contemplation, we’ve decided to post-pone the October edition of Freak Fest this year. We have a lot of things in the works for the next edition of the festival, and 4 months just isn’t quite enough time to get it all together and deliver you the best version of Freak Fest possible. We’ve went really hard the last 4 years and it feels like the right time to take a breather and reset and come back better than ever. Rather than just make a simple post about it, I wanted to tell you about it in this video. Thank y’all for every ounce of love and support you show us. Gonna miss seeing every single one of you this October, but please trust that we will be back in 2027 and on another level. The wheels are already in motion for it. Until then, come out to some of the summer gigs and keep an eye out for our End of Summer Bash weekend that will be announced soon. Much love. Freak Fest forever 💚
