Shawn Gardner Dancing has future plans of re-branding at the Ballroom to a CENTER with a combined effort and community concept in mind. The facility is currently seeking partnerships or renters in dance, fitness, events or education to team up in this beautiful space and kick off a new journey as we all recover from hardships of 2020. Partnership/ rent/ lease options all available and we'd love to hear from you!

Shawn Gardner began dancing in Tillamook, OR in 1990. She's now a professional dance instructor with over 24 years teaching experience and specializes in sharing the joy & benefits of dance with people of all ages and skill levels.
Shawn has studied a wide variety of dance styles throughout her life including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theater, Character, Contemporary and Hip hop. She's performed in numerous stage productions and was also a member of a Modern dance company. Shawn has both co-directed and directed multiple dance shows in Oregon and Washington. Shawn's Ballroom career began in 2005, studying under Sunnie Page of The Ballroom Dance Company and just two years later, received 1st Place National Titles at the 2007 USA Dance National Championships. Shawn has taught in various dance studios, recreation centers and schools since 1997, however began her own dance business in January 2012 with the addition of 6 new teachers into her company.
Shawn Gardner Dancing most recently became an LLC and took over the facility previously known as The Ballroom Dance Company in Tigard, OR. This beautiful 17,000 SF building features 3 large Ballrooms, sprung hardwood dance floors, full mirrors, state-of-the-art lighting and sound, full kitchen, offices and more. Taking place in August 2019, this was a very large undertaking for her company and a blessing for her to continue growing in the dance venue she calls home. Shawn Gardner Dancing is now the home location to 20+ teachers and a full time staff running dance classes, weekly night club events, weddings, quinceaneras, community functions and more. Future plans for Shawn Gardner Dancing LLC include a re-branding process with facility name change and Grand opening. Included in these plans are the addition of many new classes and programs as well as new facility improvements such as an outdoor patio, full built in bar, massage room, PT room, kids corner and more.
