The backdrop of the lake wes stunning , however Shannen won the stunning award !!

Happy Tropicals to brighten our spirits! It was a complete blast to create these Hawaiian themed arrangements for 20 Monroe Live Nation! We also created all red rose arrangements for a circus themed event they had there as well . It was an amazing and fun opportunity to work with Lindsay there at 20 Monroe 😍 Thanks so much Lindsay 😘

We are having a tropical plant sale Thursday through Saturday from 9 am until 2 AM this weekend at Shady Lady Plant Interiors. 3679 S 1st , Kalamazoo 49009.

How has your summer been? I hope amazing! We have had a wonderful one ourselves!
It has been a very odd growing year , however the flowers are so beautiful!
I just wanted to quickly share a wedding bouquet from last weekend for Caitlyn! The colors are so pretty.

Also it’s Lisianthus and dahlia season💕. Hannah and I have been harvesting boat loads of them!
The dahlias can be a ton of work but once they are in bloom
It makes it all worthwhile!

We will have market bouquets at Corey Lake Orchard for the rest of the season until our flowers are gone.

We had 3 weddings this weekend and loved everyone of them!!
Kate and Brooks nuptials was at the WK Kellogg Manor house on Gull Lake ! What a stunning place💕. If you have never been before (like me) , you should go and tour the grounds! So amazing!
I’m looking forward to seeing all of the professional bridal pictures soon!

Happy Summer solstice ! Man was she a toasty one yesterday 🥵
It doesn’t seem even possible that we are in late June already 😳

So we have had 2 workshops here this summer on the farm and had so much fun with the ladies 🥰. I love to watch everyone design and what they come up with! It’s always great conversation to!

With all of the spring flowers now
done blooming , the summer ones are blooming and budding up !
Even harvested a couple of dahlias for a wedding bouquet this weekend from the greenhouse.

Well I feel that this time of year all we do is w**d , w**d and w**d some
More 🤪. I always want folks who come out here ….to see a well manicured and w**d free garden BUT that is just not the reality of the situation. This is where I feel like singing “ Let it go “ ( for all you Frozen fans out there ) .
So when you come out and see the w**ds just ignore them and focus on all the pretty flowers 😂

What a perfect day it was ! We could not ask for better weather and it was a perk to have the rain last night so that the darn w**ds came out easier 😳 .
Got a few new hand w**ding tools from Johnnys seeds that I should have bought years ago ….. one is called the Lucko Wire Weeder for just $20 😄 . Check it out if your a big gardener.

In the last 48 hours we have planted 300 lily bulbs , flats of campanula and Zinnias along with tomatoes , squash and watermelon.
We have w**ded like complete maniacs and planted sunflower seeds to.
Also put together market bouquets and wedding arrangements with some our last peonies and ranunculus .

We do have spots available for this Saturdays flower bouquet bar workshop from 6-8 pm if interested.

Good Monday morning!
I hope everyone’s weekend was restful.
So I have not posted in a long time and I am going to get better … promise !
We have been so busy planting thousands of tubers. , bulbs , perennials and seedlings. Oh and w**ding over and over again 😂
I have had many people ask why I do not post many pictures of me with the flowers . I guess I have never liked pictures taken of myself …. Silly but true. I become to critical and do not like the wrinkles or gray hair🥴. Instead I need to embrace the earned wrinkles and gray hair ! I am a “Mimi” after all 💕
A little about us for the new followers …..
I am 55 and my hubby Fred is 60.
We have 3 amazing children John (Sarah), Jared ( Matt) and Lauren (Kevin). We are Boppa and Mimi to our precious Torin and Ava!!
We bought our fixer upper farm house on 5 acres in 2017 and started a cut flower farm in 2018 . Fred and I had been in the fast food franchise world for 28 years , so flowers and plants were a welcomed change of pace for us.
We started selling at farmers markets and have taken our arrangements and market bouquets to Corey Lake Orchard every year.
Last year was the first year I decided to
to try my hands full time at the farm with the help of John, Sarah, Fred and Lauren . This year we have hired Mattie and Hannah!
We had our very first flower workshops last year and our first for the season is this Saturday, June 11th at 6 to 8 pm.

Hey there! We are excited to offer our beautiful weekly farm subscription bouquets and fun filled flower workshops for the 2022 season.

Our weekly subscriptions are delivered fresh to your door ( with in 10 mile radius of our farm ) for $20.00 . Are you not sure if we deliver to you? Please call us @269-341-1583. Bouquets are also available for pick up here on the farm!

Our farm workshops are fun and relaxing! We offer non -alcoholic beverages, wine, hard cider and light refreshments. Come and have a fun time in the quiet country environment playing with flowers! Vase is provided to you . It has been a ton of fun watching what everyone creates!
We are available June 11th and the 18th from 6 pm to 8 pm . Then again on July 7th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter and new momma Lauren! We have a beautiful little girl named Ava Wren 💕. I hope that you all have amazing plans to spend it with a loved one or loved fur baby!
We are meeting our new granddaughter this weekend ! Just can’t wait !
We are still taking Mother’s Day flower orders until 9am tomorrow morning for pickup here at our flower farm studio , Corey Lake Orchard or for delivery when requested.

Happy Spring ! Hope that your all doing great and enjoyed the sunshine this past weekend !
It has been a bit from the last post due to being busy farmers and have been planting , w**ding , propagating and babysitting our seedlings / cuttings . The ranunculus and anemones are looking good and can’t wait to put those lil puppies in some sunny arrangements.

We are offering the following for pickup ( when pre-ordered) at either Friday the 6th or Saturday the 7th . $60 table centerpiece (13 in diameter approx). OR $45 glass arrangement We will also have hand wrapped bouquets for $35 .
Grab a pie for your Mother’s Day get together when you’re there …. They are so yummy! We have eggs here at our farm for sale $3.00 dozen. The ladies have been laying eggs like crazy.
