Cool little fact about Conejo Holiday Market’s event location

Louie and Dee Valdez opened Casita Valdez out of their home at 159 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard in 1961. It was expanded in 1963 by converting the garage into a dining area, then the adjacent home was acquired to further expand the popular Mexican eatery. It was remodeled as seen here in 1975. It operated until 1979, when it was sold to Henry Valdez (not related to Louie and Dee), owner of Enrique's Mexican Restaurant in Van Nuys. Enrique's Mexican Restaurant operated until 2009. Tipsy Goat opened here on March 17, 2011. And there you have the history of 159 E. T.O. Blvd.

More than four wagons full of diapers and wipes donated to Conejo Community Outreach today during the Conejo Holiday Market at The Tipsy Goat! Thanks to all who came out and supported our diaper bank and so many local vendors! We appreciate all the work the event organizers put into this and the partnership with Tipsy Goat!

We had such a great time yesterday! Thank you everyone for coming out to Conejo Holiday Market! We put so much heart and soul into this event! It was truly lovely. We are proud of the vendor family we have and the community we are part of. Thank you to the amazing sponsors, talented entertainment & DJ Rainbow. Santa was so fun and made sure to share joy with every kid. Happy Holidays to everyone and from our families to yours Happy New Year
