“🍊BOOZY BOBA 🍊

for all my 90s and early aughts babies; how much did you love a @‌clearlycanadian ORBITZ?!?

Inspired by the ASPIRATIONAL after school beverage, I wanted to see if a boba like APEROL ORBITZ SPRITZ would be as fun in real life as it was in my brain.

full disclosure: I don’t like chewing anything in my drinks: this includes boba in general. but something about these little aperol pearls in a chilled glass of prosecco was too ridiculous to be mad at!

HOW TO MAKE:
🍊 Using the @‌platingqueen technique for these pearls, I mixed 1/3 cup of Aperol with 1/3 tsp of agar agar.
🍊Once simmering, remove from the heat and let cool before transferring into a squeeze bottle
🍊 Squeeze pearls into a glass of ice cold oil.
🍊 Strain pearls from oil, rinse, and place into glasses
🍊Top with prosecco and an orange slice and enjoy!

I’m trying to figure out what other aperitif would be great for these: maybe Kahlua or Lillet?”
