Here's what I'd like you to know about me:

I'm from a small town in Southwest Georgia, currently living in Athens, Georgia. I'm in school at the University of Georgia, studying management, and trying to do what I'm passionate about on the side - photography and graphic design. I fell in love with photography about 6 years ago and take my camera everywhere with me. I picked up graphic design while taking a yearbook class in high school. I like to think of the daunting task of looking at a blank computer screen and making an idea in my head come to life, or making someone look and feel beautiful in photographs, as exciting as jumping out of a plane (and I've done that). It is my goal as your photographer or graphic designer to show the world who you are.

I don’t really like intro posts tbh. They feel a little shallow. If you really want a full intro about me - head to my website. The basics: I’m a wife, a mom to a 3 year old boy, I find joy in celebrating other people through photos and I also work full time with my dad in a family owned business.

I don’t like small talk. I’m the kind of friend who wants to catch up over a cup of coffee at a local shop and then go shopping after to keep the convo going. I’m at a place in my life where if I don’t have time for shallow friendships - I want depth and meaning.

If I could live and breathe a song right now it would be Firm Foundation by Cody Carnes. Specifically the verse that says “I’ve still got joy in chaos and a peace that makes no sense… I’m not held by my own strength cause I’ve built my life on Jesus. He’s never let me down. He’s faithful in every season so why would he fail now? He won’t”

Cropping cocktail hour drinks and bags will always be so fun. The thing about photographing receptions and cocktail hours is not everyone is smiley and I’m not going to upload bad photos of people haha. But when you have cool drinks, a good bar, good light, and a well laid out cocktail hour - it makes alllll the difference
