We are so incredibly proud of Jeanne! What an honor that she is a part of our community! 💕🎂

✨ Well… this is pretty special. ✨

Last year, when I saw Loverly’s Best Of Awards, I said, “I want Artsy Cakesy to be on that list.”

And then, honestly, I tucked that goal away.

So imagine my surprise when I found out that Artsy Cakesy has been recognized by Loverly as Best Wedding Cake & Dessert Baker for 2026! 🥹🤍

Out of tens of thousands of nominees from around the world, I’ve been recognized as one of the most trusted, talented, and highly
recommended wedding professionals in the industry.

I am SO incredibly proud of this.

And perhaps even more so because of the year it came in.

This has been an especially challenging year. I lost a sister. I lost my wedding venue, which I had poured my heart, time, and significant financial investment into building.

Every wedding cake, consultation, email. Every early morning and late night—even when they all began to blend into one…

I kept creating, caring, and putting my whole heart into what I do.

Because Artsy Cakesy has never been just about making a pretty cake for me.

It’s about taking an idea, a feeling, a color palette, or a love story—and turning it into something you can see, touch, photograph, and eventually taste. It’s about being a tiny part of so many unions and getting to pray over each one as I work.

And, of course, it better taste as beautiful as it looks. 😉

So receiving this recognition right now feels like more than an award.

It feels like a little reminder that showing up matters. That the work matters. That the love I pour into this business is seen.

To every couple, planner, vendor, venue, friend, and client who has supported Artsy Cakesy—thank you. ❤️

Meet Rylee FanFan — the new owner of Down The Aisle Carolina.

Part pastry chef, part matchmaker, part visionary-in-chief—Rylee FanFan is the the new CEO of Down the Aisle Carolina. With a lifelong love of building things by hand, a business degree backed by real entrepreneurial instinct, and a firsthand understanding of what it means to build a life (and a wedding) with the one you love, she's the one now steering the DTAC vision .

We've spent the last few days working side by side with her, and we can tell you with complete confidence: she gets it. She's not here to change what this community is, but rather she's here because she believes in it, and she's already planning where to take it next.

Come meet her in person at Boos & I Do's on Thursday, October 29th at The Historic Brookstown Inn — her very first event as the new face of DTAC. We'll be right there cheering her on.

Two years ago, Down The Aisle Carolina started as an idea: a place where Carolina wedding vendors could actually find each other, support each other, and send couples to people they trust. Because of this community, it became real — 38+ vendors, events people still talk about, friendships that started at a folding table with a name tag.

Here's our honest news: life is taking us in new directions. Angela is moving to Wisconsin to be closer to family, and MaryAnn is starting a new chapter of her own. We didn't want to just let this community wind down — so we went looking for the right person to carry it forward. We found her.
