This wedding will probably stay one of my favorites for a very long time.
Not because everything went perfectly — but because of the trust behind it all.
One of the biggest misconceptions about wedding planners/coordinators is that if the day looks effortless, then the job must’ve been easy. In reality, most of the work happens quietly in the background.
The timeline adjustments nobody notices.
The candles being relit.
The bouquets being moved from place to place.
The missing family members being tracked down before photos.
The dress fluffing, boutonniere pinning, problem solving, vendor cueing, and last-minute pivots happening in real time.
A wedding day moves so incredibly fast. My goal has never been to create “perfect.” It’s to create a space where my couples can actually be present in it all while I carry the weight of everything happening behind the scenes.
This day was joyful, emotional, beautiful, chaotic in the best ways, and such a reminder of why I love this job so much.
There is something really special about being trusted with such an important day.
And I’ll never take that lightly. 🤍
