A tree painted purple means "No Trespassing" and indicates that you are approaching private property. Many states use these markings as a legal, weather-resistant alternative to traditional plastic or metal warning signs. The "Purple Paint Law"Over 20 states have enacted legislation (often referred to as the "Purple Paint Law") that legally defines purple paint marks as official notices to keep out. The color was chosen for several specific reasons:High Visibility: Purple stands out against the natural, green and brown backdrop of most forests.Accessibility: It is easily identifiable by the vast majority of people, including those who are red-green colorblind. No Confusion: The forestry industry does not use purple paint to mark timber for harvest, making its meaning unambiguous.Durability: Signs are easily torn down, stolen, or weathered, whereas paint is permanent, doesn't damage trees, and is harder to vandalize

**A Friendly Reminder to Our Neighbors**
We'd like to respectfully ask everyone to please stay off the property at 33 Hickman Fork Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286 (33 Frog Hollow Events) unless you have permission from the property owner.
