We were honored to be a part of The Memorial Golf Tournament at the Thief River Golf Club this year. This annual tournament is more than just a day of golf, it is a special tradition that brings people together while remembering and honoring Thief River Golf Club members who are no longer with us. Legacy Catering provided a mac & cheese bar for the golfers following their time on the course. Thank you to the Thief River Golf Club for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event. Sometimes the weather has a way of making a wedding day even more memorable! After a rainy start to the day, the skies cleared just in time for Mackenzie and Hunter’s ceremony at Legacy Event Center. 💍 We were lucky to be part of their entire wedding weekend. On Friday, August 14th, Legacy Catering provided their groom’s dinner with dill meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and dinner rolls. On Saturday, we served their wedding meal of bacon-wrapped chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. It was so much fun watching everything come together and seeing Legacy filled with their family and friends celebrating the two of them. Mackenzie and Hunter, thank you for choosing Legacy Event Center and Legacy Catering for your wedding weekend. We truly appreciate you trusting us with such an important celebration and loved being a part of your special day. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Pahlen! We had the opportunity to cater the Sanford Medical Center Company Picnic on August 10th! For their picnic, we served burgers, hot dogs, chips, mac salad, and cookies while everyone had a chance to spend some time together outside of the workday. A Huge Shoutout to Our Legacy Team! August 8th was one of those days that really showed us what an incredible team we have behind Legacy Event Center & Legacy Catering. In one day, our team handled three separate events at three different locations, catering a wedding at Copper Ridge, serving the Eagles Golf Tournament, and hosting and catering a wedding at Legacy Event Center. Between the three events, we served nearly 800 people in ONE DAY! The last few weeks have included a couple of true all-hands-on-deck weekends, and our staff has continued to show up, work together, jump in wherever they are needed, and keep everything moving. There are so many things that happen behind the scenes, from prepping and loading to setting up, serving, cleaning, hauling everything back, and getting ready to do it all over again. We couldn’t do what we do without our staff. We are incredibly thankful for the time, hard work, flexibility, and teamwork they give us, especially on days like this. Our team deserves a huge shoutout! 👏
And to everyone who continues to choose Legacy Event Center and Legacy Catering for your weddings, tournaments, celebrations, and events, thank you. Whether your event is here at Legacy or we’re bringing our catering to you, we truly appreciate being trusted to be part of it.

What a fun wedding to be a part of! Hannah and Duden were such a wonderful couple to work with, and we truly enjoyed getting to know them throughout the planning process and watching their day come together at Legacy. For their wedding meal, Legacy Catering served roast beef and bacon-wrapped chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, and dinner rolls. Their wedding was filled with so much fun, laughter, and celebration, and we loved having their family and friends here to celebrate alongside them.
