Session player for Harry Connick Jr., Mike Stern, and Cindy Blackman. Oz Noy is coming to Windmills.

Oz began his professional career at 13 and relocated to New York City in 1996, where he quickly became one of the most sought-after guitarists on the global scene. His signature sound a fusion of jazz, funk, rock, blues, and R&B, is what he calls "Jazz. It just doesn't sound like it."

His catalog spans Oz Live!, Ha!, the Twisted Blues series, Who Gives A Funk, Booga Looga Loo, and his trio Ozone Squeeze, each project showcasing a restless creativity and unmatched command of feel.

Jazz Open Jam Session hosted by The Connor Kent Quartet

Join the Connon Kent Quartet for an open jam session rooted in collaboration and shared musicianship. The house band opens the evening with a set from 7:00–7:40 PM, after which the stage opens up for musicians to sit in.

Musicians of all instruments and backgrounds are welcome. Guitarists, an amp will be provided.

Connor Kent’s “compelling groove” (DownBeat Magazine) has taken him around the world, performing and teaching across the United States, Canada, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. As a drummer and percussionist, his deep respect for diverse musical traditions has made him a sought-after performer, educator, and collaborator across a wide range of genres.
