The first spot light we are doing today is going to be a written post and future ones will be recorded then posted later. So here we go...

Today's first spot light, we are introducing Druid's Grove Librarian, Terry Cousin. Terry is a spiritual healer, a gifted channeler and a very talented card reader. Terry also has over 20 years' experience in giving all kinds of readings and has provided helpful and insightful advice with a helping hand in guiding you to your next goal. To me, Terry is a lot more than those three words I just use to describe my sister and life coach.

Terry has been my personal life coach for over 10 years now and thanks to her I have met many of my life's goals in order to heal from my past trauma in this life and in several past lives. Terry page “F**k trauma Lets heal”, offers many different styles of healing, for example, she does live readings on her page F**k Trauma Lets Heal. Which is an alternative and holistic Health Service, it is listed on Facebook as F%ck Trauma Lets Heal.

Terri offers many different types of readings based on what your needs are, she may channel and pull cards during a reading, she also provides suggestions and sound advice to continue with your spiritual healings. You can book appointments, personal readings, message and even a recording of the reading. Pricing is based on what type of reading and what your personal needs are. She also knows where and what books are needed to help with your spiritual healing or spiritual growth. An in addition to all those wonderful things, she even attends festivals and even post some events to her page.

Good Morning! I know it has been a while since the last post, I have been working on the networking part of Druid's Grove. Starting Monday, April 25 we with have post on Druid's Grove Members and local Crafters from all over Texarkana, Texas. This will include website, pages and even interviews. So please have a safe and happy weekend.

Yesterday's days outage caused a big delay to clean up this page, but that is okay; it gave me time to think about what I need to do to fix this page. I had to remove the phone number do to random spam calls, a couple of fishing calls and a few pranksters calling to set up wedding or asking how to make love potions or something that could harm people. I would like to address a few things here and now:

1. We at Druid's Grove are not out to hurt anyone or force others to do our bidding. Also it is not funny to set up a business deal and then bail on someone at last minute.

2. Also selling a person and business number (with out permission) is a form of stealing; as a result my phone was slammed with spam calls and fishing calls with my phone number on the caller .

In private chats people have trolled me as well as the intent on barring my freedom of speech, religion etc. Look we are all the same no matter our skin tone, faith and even our dreams no matter what you personally believe. So my trust in humanity has shifted and so has my belief that humanity can change.

Change can be a good thing if you support some one unconditionally, even if it is something you do not agree with; facts or no fact. Each path offer a new life choice, experience or even a new lesson that must be learned. If the person makes a choice, back off let that person fly, never shame them and above all leave the past where it belongs...in the past.

So as of today, please understand we are not a church that will take away any of your followers; we are helping people find their way to their next step in their journey; a waystation. Druid's Grove is about knowledge, networking and even the light through the fog; if we can not help someone personally we can point them in the right direction. The choice is yours to make....

Letter from our founder

As you know Druid’s Grove was closed due to the Covid virus, economy, as well with the normal misunderstanding about Druid’s Grove. First off, we may use the word coven but we are not a coven; we are a community based learning center or an out reach center for religious, lost or faithful people, no matter what path you walk, who you identify with and who you are. Druid’s Grove is non for profit, we do not mandated membership fees, we do not have petty cash and still we welcome you all. We are networking around the community to bring understanding, a safe place to meet as well exchange or barter our services and goods. Not every group is right for everyone so Druid’s Grove does it’s best to find you a guide, life coach, readers and even churches; yes I said churches. Druid’s grove can accept of all kinds donations, what we cannot use we will give to locate shelters, pantries and other community based organizations.

Our mission is to bring back community support, with the government and other support services running out of money to run these kind of services, we all need to pull together to get through this crisis to move towards the future. Druid’s Grove stands on a foundational belief that it takes a village to raise a child, with the modern world progress; we lost faith, trust and end up with a bunch of s**t talkers. Our society is turning on one another, too many selfish people, hate and worse of all; No accountability for ones actions. Instead we all blame our past or others for our conduct, this is only a half truth people; we to stop using our past as an excuse or using someone else to pay for your actions. I am not saying I am personally a saint, what I am saying is: we must own our mistakes and be humble when admitting your mistake.

Despite what you think, everyone has a jaded or troubled past, a past that could save you or doom you. Believe it or not, I grew up poor and struggled hard to get lower middle class; but to look at me you might miss it. I grew up on the streets of Chicago watching history unfold, the cruelty humans can inflict on others, as well as what the city, county and state government officials will do to keep a tight control on the people. Blackmail, bullying, theft, murder etc are everyday events in Chicago; but no one wants to fix it or do not know where to begin fixing it. We cannot stop forces like that or could we?

If you cannot afford college, trust me you do not want federal student loan, check out a local library and start reading some of those lovely books there. This just an example of what you can do to pull yourself up by the boot straps, then the hard part, you have to keep following through to meet your goals. Nothing is handed to you in life but one thing…Free will, you cannot change another’s free will; you can only change yours.

Druid’s Grove is a way station on your path in life, we provide access to other groups we all have come in contact as well as a shared learning space. Support comes in all shapes in sizes, a helping hand or even a gentle push back on your path when the time comes. We even provide support for others events, buying products from other crafters in our local area, showing up to one of their events, helping to bring others to participate and even giving free review for them. We are a community no matter what you think, stand up for what you believe and peaceful resolution to our issues; never forget that.

Now, with that out of the way…

Druid’s Grove is struggling to reopen, but I have faith it will stand long after I depart from this world; faith in humanity that we will evolve, enlighten and even see a world trying hard to get along. Druid’s Grove is mobile, so we go Druid’s Grove is need; so I see a need here in Texarkana. We pretty much have one library here in Texarkana, I and many others live out of city limits so we have to pay for our library card; most cannot pay a yearly fee for a public library. So I have a wonderful idea of bring back Bookmobiles; a Library on wheels to meet the needs of homeschooled kids, rural or at risk kids as well as our Elders in this town. Adults would enjoy the bookmobile as well, especially if they cannot afford to buy book; this will also assist those would cannot drive to the library. I believe this would be a beneficial asset to the city and rural areas, here in Texarkana.

As for maintaining the bookmobile, I have a mechanic that out could assist with the repairs and maintaining the vehicle. Book donations have already started, more teenage and children books are needed, as well as a couple of librarian drivers. What we are in need is funds or a donation to secure at least one Bookmobile (Old RV, cargo van etc.) to get the project started, a few donations of supplies and if anyone wants to help in construction as well, please contacted Druid’s Grove. This is our town, our community, our home, if the local government cannot help us, we must help each other survive in our community.

I am asking for you to share this post for us, we need volunteers or groups that can donate time and if this finds it’s way to our city or county government; please address this need in our community. This project could benefit our community in so many ways: education, mental health, self empowerment, bring joy in the eyes of a child or an elder who is confined in their homes. I am outlining the steps as we speak, to bring this project forward… Druid’s Grove is also looking for others in this community to join us, and even provide a positive input in this project, to make this Dream become a reality.

We at Druid’s Grove also believe that education and self learning is the key to understanding where our place in this world and universe; we also believe that education should be granted freely to all. We will stand by this motto of free education to all, even if it is a book for research, book report, or a book that can open your mind to other worlds and possibilities. Imagination is a beautiful gift from god, you will not get bored as easily and sometimes a book can brighten our world on a long gloomy day; instead of mindless watching TV or Facebook posts.
