Another before and after project!

I was asked to take this life-size sculpture and repaint it so it looked like my client's dog who passed away.
Going from a golden retriever, to a black lab look with a lot of details in the face, was no small feat!

But in the end, client was very happy with it! It was a honor to capture such a beautiful dog

Sometimes clients have extraordinary requests that are emotionally charged and unexpected. A heart-wrenching example is a woman who lost her baby at 28 weeks.

Despite struggling to cope, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy a few years later. She asked me to create a painting from a photograph of her deceased baby, bringing it to life by depicting the baby as if it were peacefully sleeping.

Initially, I was uncertain how to approach this delicate task.
However, I worked on the painting, the final result was exceptionally well-received, and my client was more than pleased.

A client came to me and asked me to restore a head stone for their dog who passed away 🙏 ❤️.
It had a lot of damage, cracks, mildew and completely faded.
Here is a little before and after! I love being able to use my art skills not just for custom paintings but for restoration and bring beau pieces back to life ❤️ 🎨

It was such a fun project to refurbish this adorable cement dog statue for a awesome couple!
The dog had been sitting outside for a while and was a little damaged after a cleaning.
After some patch work, painting and varnish "Sammie" is as good as new!
