Are we closing for good? Yes, we are.
I know for some this may come as a surprise, and others it may not, but either way it’s the beginning to an end.
I opened Cotton Chaos accidentally in fall of 2020 as a means to escape a failed marriage and provide for my son while navigating the chaos of a very messy divorce.
This shop has served as our financial stability, our play place, our refuge, and most of all—our home.
We’ve had play dates, met so many people, created amazing friends, made so many memories, started the healing to our traumas, made thousands of cones of cotton candy, and rebuilt our lives from nothing.
And while it’s been a fun and wild ride to own, operate, and live in a candy store, it no longer serves us well.
With inflation rising, wages staying the same, and the community spending less, we aren’t able to keep up financially any longer and renewing our lease would be irresponsible.
Please don’t be sad for us though, because all amazing things must eventually come to an end.
August 7th (12-6pm) will be our last day open at the shop and we hope to see you one last time.
Thank you for bringing joy to our chaos,
Tiffany and Edison
