This early season sunny weather is inspiring us to BBQ! What are your favorite go-to bbq recipes??

Here's our recipe for BBQ'd Oysters!

2 sticks Butter, softened
5 Tbsp Pecorino Cheese, finely grated
5 Tbsp Italian Flat Leaf Parsley, minced
5 tsp Garlic, minced
2 tsp Shallots, minced
2 Tbsp Lemon juice
½ tsp Sea Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp “Cayucos Hot Sauce”, optional

1) Place all the ingredients listed above in a food processor and mix just until combined. Roll in a tight log shape on parchment paper. Refrigerate or freeze until firm. (This is your “compound butter” and it may be prepared days ahead of time.)
2) Thoroughly wash and shuck 3 dozen (36) Fresh Oysters. Reserve the oyster on ½ of their shell.
3) Preheat the grill on High.
4) Prepare each oyster with 1 Tbsp of Compound Butter and lightly sprinkle with Panko Bread Crumbs.
5) Place Oyster shell on the grill (oyster and goodies facing up). Cook until butter is melted and bubbly (about 4-7 minutes).
6) Serve immediately and enjoy with a chilled glass of your favorite White Wine.

Having fun experimenting with new recipes. Today I am fine tuning Pistachio Gelato with real Sicilian Pistachio paste (which offers such an intense, rich, & buttery flavor). Love spending time in the test kitchen! ❤️🇮🇹

This is such a special time of year and one of our favorites to reflect on the great year we've had. We are so thankful to have been a part of so many weddings and life celebrations. This is our time to give back to this awesome community, and this Holiday Season we donated 70lbs of food to our local Food Bank to help families in need. Thank you for being a part of the LDD Family and we look forward to another great year ahead!
