Are you wondering what you are doing wrong that your Tomatoes look like this. Have no fear it can be avoided and here is how.
What you are looking at is called blossom and rot or rot spot. This happens when the Tomatoes have a calcium deficiency.
You can either add the Garden lime to your soil by sprinkling it around the base of the plant so that when you water or it rains it will seep into the soil and up into the plant. Or, you can spray the plant and Tomatoes with Rot Stop which will be quicker to combat the problem.
For future reference and next year, you can mix the calcium right into your soil before planting.

Are we still surviving?
Yes, but it's HOT in the greenhouses!
We are watering in the morning. Closing at lunch for our health and your saftey. But spraying cold water on the plants to cool the greenhouses down in tge afternoon. The temperatures range from 118° to 124° depending on which greenhouse it is.
We are changing CeCe's and Violet's water every 6 hours so we don't make duck or chicken soup out of each other. FritzieBoo realizes to come into the cooler store to take her naps and stop melting.
Once this temperatures break, we will stay open later hours of the days.
